Work experience

Ed Vaizey offers work experience opportunities to 6th Form students and adults who live in the Constituency, based in Wallingford, and at Westminster. Students will be able to help with a number of tasks:

·         Casework, depending on age

·         Researching an issue

·         Writing press releases

·         Accompanying Ed to meetings

·         Assisting with office duties

·         Answering queries from constituents, either by letter or by email

Unpaid Work Experience placements are available for up to 5 days.  Ed supports the aims of organisations such as Intern Aware and pays the London Living Wage for work carried out in short-term roles of more than 5 days.  For school students, we will try to ensure that assistance is provided with travel costs incurred in getting to the offices.
