Didcot First meeting

Ed joined local businesses, residents and representatives of South and Vale District Councils at a meeting of Didcot First to discuss plans for Didcot Garden Town.  He also heard updates about the local economy and from local community groups.

Ed attends A420 meeting

Ed attended a useful meeting with Parish Councils along the A420 to discuss improvements to road safety.  The issues of air quality and noise pollution were also raised.

Oxford Fertility

Ed met with Prof Tim Child, clinical director of Oxford Fertility, today to discuss Steve McCabe’s access to fertility bill currently before Parliament. You can read the Bill here.

Meeting with Local CEOs

Ed met with local CEOs today to lead a round table discussion on Brexit. There was a frank discussion on the impact it will have on the world leading businesses in the constituency, particularly in the areas of science and technology. 

Meeting with BBO Wildlife Trust

Meeting with NorthRow

Ed met with fintech business NorthRow in Milton Park today. NorthRow does work in helping financial services organisations to improve their efficiency and customer experience, while reducing the risk of financial crime.

Meeting with NFU

Ed met the National Farmers Union today for a discussion about the agriculture bill, rural crime & bovine TB in a useful and informative session. 

Archangel Imaging

Ed met the team from Archangel Imaging at Harwell Campus today to hear about their products. Archangel are the winners of the BT Infinity Award and their AI camera systems are deployable on projects as diverse as conservation in the Borneo jungle to pipeline protection & security.
