Epilepsy Purple Day

As the President of SUDEP Action, the only UK Charity dedicated to raising awareness of epilepsy risk, tackling epilepsy deaths & supporting the bereaved, Ed visited the Epilepsy Purple Day event in Parliament today.

Ed meets OALC

Ed met with the Oxfordshire Association of Local Councils (OALC) today. The OALC represent 92% of town and parish councils in Oxfordshire. Subjects discussed include the GDPR and the Oxford-Cambridge Expressway. You can find out more about the OALC here.

Didcot Sign

Ed was delighted to pick up an historic Didcot sign on Friday. It will hang proudly in the constituency office!

Visit to Maymessey

Ed visited local charity Maymessy on Friday. Maymessy offers gardening, kitchen craft and family-style sit-down meals and picnics for disadvantaged children and volunteer groups and is up for a Vale4Business social enterprise award for teaching young people the value of good nutrition.

Cycling Minister visits Milton Park

Ed hosted the Cycling Minister, Jesse Norman MP, in Milton Park to view new cycling infrastructure improvements, including the new Backhill Tunnel.

Science Vale UK

Ed was filming this Friday on Science Vale UK. South Oxfordshire and the Vale of White Horse have announced a partnership to promote our area’s scientific prowess.

Jisc Visit

Ed visited Jisc in Harwell Campus on Friday to discuss how to protect UK universities and colleges from cyber security threats. Find out more about Jisc here.

Ed visits Renaissance Retirement Homes
