Ed visits White Horse Medical Centre

Ed visited White Horse Medical Centre in Faringdon to meet with their Patients Participation Group and GP's.  They discussed concerns about funding alterations to the centre to cope with growing demand.   

Ed meets SUDEP

Ed met with Jane Hanna and Sammy Ashby from SUDEP a local charity he is president of.  SUDEP is involved in support for families who have been affected by sudden death in epilepsy, it is also increasingly involved with preventing cases.

Ed meets GARD

Ed met up with GARD a campaign group against the building of a reservoir between Steventon and the Hanneys.  They discussed the future way forward for the campaign and ways which Ed could help the group engage with key stakeholders in the project.

Rifles parade through Faringdon

After being granted the Freedom of the Vale of White Horse in 2016, the Rifles paraded through Faringdon today.

Ed welcomes cyclist fundraisers

Ed and a crowd of supporters welcomed cyclists raiding money for the Felix Fund - the bomb dispostal charity to Didcot today. The group of 20 cyclists from 11 EOD Regiment RLC are cycling from Edinburgh to Bielefeld in Germeny. You can donate to their fundraiser here.

MP opens Uffington Bridge

Ed opened a new pedestrian footbridge in Uffington built by Network Rail. He also had a look at a bug hotel built by local scouts as part of the development.

Opening of Qube Learning office

Ed opened the offices of Qube Learning in Milton Park on Friday. A leading training provider, Qube Learning specialise in apprenticeships, traineeships and vocational qualifications.

Ed chairs OxLEP meeting

Ed chaired a meeting of Oxfordshire LEPs sub-group creativity, culture, heritage and tourism, discussing how to boost investment across the county.
