Ed conducted a groundbreaking ceremony to commence the construction of Grove Business Park on Tuesday. The Park will be a 32-acre mixed use business park, home to over 85 businesses and employing over 300 people.
Ed visited Skoob Books in Didcot today and met with founder Chris Edwards. Based in London and Didcot and home to almost a million books, Skoob Books is one of the UK’s largest second hand book stores, and supplies most books seen in the background of films.
Ed visited the site of the planned Rosalind Franklin Institute in Harwell on Friday. When completed, it will be a national institute, dedicated to bringing about transformative changes in life science through interdisciplinary research and technology development.
Ed visited John Radcliffe Hospital on Friday to celebrate the 70th birthday of the NHS. There were celebrations across all Oxford University Hospitals and around the country, which you can read more about here.
